The Origin Story
It all started in the middle of Iowa!
Adam and Michael are the original Cycling Men of Leisure. Their friendship starting on a road in the middle of Iowa during RAGBRAI 2016. They spent miles discussing cycling, investing, and telling stories.. They returned to Iowa in 2018. After that their riding took on a life of it own and they are still going strong. Every summer they typically do two week long rides as well as several other multi day rides around the country.
Their evolution to Cycling Men of Leisure!
As their adventures grew they developed a certain style, one that started getting them noticed. During the 2022 Bike Ride Across Georgia (BRAG) while they were enjoying a bourbon and a cigar. A comment from a passer-by served as the catalyst that propelled then into the next stage of their cycling evolution.
Two months later they had developed a Facebook Page, website and podcast that exemplified their style, cycling ideology and life philosophy. Cycling Men of Leisure (its for women too) was born!
